In Bethlehem’s Fellowship Hall
Dinner: 5:30 p.m.              Classes 6:15 – 7:15 p.m.

Come to Bethlehem’s Fellowship Hall on Wednesday evenings where dinner is served from 5:30 – 6:00 p.m. ($5 per person; $12 maximum for family – payable each evening.)  Then join a group to focus on a particular subject from 6:15 to 7:15 p.m.  Choose which of the following you would like to join by filling out the registration form by March 25.

The Message of Samuel
The Books of 1 and 2 Samuel are centered on the lives of three important Old Testament characters – Samuel, Saul, and David.  We will study the actions of these individuals, as well as others, looking for lessons that we can apply to our spiritual lives today.  In doing so we will also trace the history of the Israeli nation from the time it existed as a loose tribal federation during the period of the Judges through the development of the strong, unified nation under King David.  The Bible will be our main reference with weekly questions to help facilitate discussion.
Co-Facilitators:  Richard Keeports and Alan Weikert

Our Ministry of Prayer
We all know that as Christians we are called to be a prayerful people.  Everyone who observes the life of Jesus quickly discovers that he was often in prayer, and that his praying made a difference. If we are to follow Jesus, we are to pray.  In our praying, we will discover what Jesus did:  God's presence, power, peace, and provision.

We are delighted to offer the opportunity to learn about prayer and to pray through eight Wednesday evenings at 6:15 p.m., as part of the M&M program.  You are welcome to come for dinner at 5:30 p.m., or you may just come to be in prayer.

We will meet in the prayer room next to the elevator, on the main floor of Bethlehem.  Anyone who has been seeking a time for personal or group prayer is invited.  After a brief instructional moment, you may use this time for silent meditation, or you may offer a spoken prayer if comfortable doing so.  Along with praying for the life and ministry of our church, names for intercessory prayer will be provided, along with materials to encourage prayer.  A leader will be present to help make a beginning.  Let us all be encouraged to pray and to pray more.

For Women:  Made to Crave
“Made to Crave” is a Bible study to help women find the ‘want to’ in making healthy lifestyle choices.  It is the missing link between a woman's desire to be healthy and the spiritual empowerment necessary to make that happen.   We were made to crave.  Craving isn't bad.  But we must realize God created us to crave more of him.  New York Times Bestseller, Lysa TerKeurst, will guide us through a 6 week DVD and discussion series.  The other two weeks we will learn together to find our missing link:
  • To break the cycle of “I’ll start on Monday” and feel good about ourselves today.
  • To stop agonizing over numbers on the scale and make peace with our body.
  • To replace rationalizations that lead to failure with wisdom that leads to victory.
  • To reach our healthy goals and grow closer to God through the process.
Participant guide $10, payable in class.  Open to 12 women.
Facilitators:  Darlene Kuhn and Bonnie Huff

Seeking Him - Experience the Joy of Personal Revival
Experience the joy that comes with personal revival!  Did you know that revival means a complete transformation of your heart that impacts your home, church, and the world?  Nancy Leigh DeMoss’ book will guide us in the way toward freedom and the genuine holiness that comes from humility, repentance, and forgiveness.  God wants to reveal Himself to us.  He wants us to drink deeply of the joys found in His presence.  He wants our service for Him to be the overflow of genuine love and an authentic life.  God wants us to be a reflection of his glory in our dark world.

Open to 10 participants.
Co-facilitators:  Mary Boyd and Marji Orwig

June 20 – Ministry in Alaska - Ruth Ann Ward

Hear and see a story of Alaska through the eyes, words and heart of Ruth Ann Ward. “Alaska ~ home to mountains, moose, and majestic vistas, culturally and racially diverse populations, with 500 miles of railroad and endless miles of rivers and oceans ~ the beauty of it all captured my husband, David, and me on our first trip.  Mission opportunities with the United Methodist Church took us back twice.  First in 2010, to serve at an inner city congregation in Anchorage during the pastor's sabbath leave and then as their interim pastor in 2011. “
